First off, I think this piece is absolutely LOVELY! You achieved a very nice 3d effect and the colors are wonderful! I'm not very good at 3d or photoshop, etc (I'm working on it), but my experience painting competition level tabletop gaming miniatures and equine sculptures helped me learn color and composition. My only complaint is the dark, undefined planets in center field-eye level. I know you don't want to add color because that would take away from the blue planet and your gorgeous star field, but being so dark they're almost like lumps of coal and distracting - sort of a void that draws attention away from where it should be.

This is just a suggestion, but you've got a hint of yellow/green on the middle planet, if you pop that contrast just a bit more - not so much with color but with with brightness, that yellow/green being a complimentary color of the purple nebula cloud and blue planet should make everything pop without becoming a distraction. It would be easy to go overboard so I can see where you were going with it

Again, just a thought I had, I really like this work. The colors and depth are beautiful and really well done. Keep up the great work!
